The global pandemic has upended our everyday lives like never before. The optometric term “20/20 vision” denotes normal visual acuity measured at a distance of 20 feet. In this age of uncertainties, having such a clear vision becomes ever more important in helping us grasp opportunities and uphold hopes amidst the unprecedented crisis. Organised by Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC), BODW CityProg (CityProg) comes to its third edition this year with the theme “20/20 Vision of Post-pandemic World”. We present more than 200 design and creative happenings to inspire you to search for your unique 20/20 vision and a spirit of designing for society….
Organised by the Hong Kong Design Centre, “BODW CityProg” (or “CityProg” for short) links up over 100 creative groups, corporates, organisations, education institutions, designers and students to present multifarious activities from November to the first quarter of next year. This year, CityProg partners up with 16 Anchor Sites in 7 districts, including Wan Chai, Sham Shui Po, Tsuen Wan, Fo Tan, To Kwa Wan, North Point and Chai Wan, to present a whole range of creative activities featuring community characters. For its public education arm, CityProg joins hands with creative groups and communities to organise “Design EduVation” targeting at people of different ages and backgrounds to inspire an appreciation for design and design thinking in the public. On top of these are more than 100 Satellite Events and special offers from CityProg’s partners at all corners of the city. All these design events and activities come together to bring the creative vibe in Hong Kong to new heights….
To enhance public experience and appreciation of good design, the Hong Kong Design Centre has launched “BODW CityProg” (or “CityProg” for short) since last year. CityProg aims to boost the design spirit of the local community and infuse the city with energy. CityProg is sparking synergy between the local creative industry, businesses and brands, and enlivening the community with unique design programmes. This year, CityProg will carry on the spirit and link up over 100 creative groups, corporates, organisations, education institutions, designers and students, to present multifarious activities all year round with its peak from November to the first quarter of next year, provoking creativity outburst throughout the city….
