文字是建構城市面貌與個性的重要一環,招牌、廣告林立更是香港特色風景,訴說著一個城市的文化和歷史。

我們走訪避風塘得知,昔日的舢舨船篷,盡是老字號品牌的廣告,彷如水面上的移動畫像。我們特意以塗鴉作為媒介,重現這被忽略的城市空間。舢舨船篷上的「開新」 (意指開始一新次出海)、「埋街」 (意指返回岸邊) 二字,是水上人的日常用語,我們以塗鴉簽名(Tagging)的方式表達,讓舢舨每一次在岸邊或水上載客的日常渡船景象,變成漁港獨特的視覺文化。

什麼是塗鴉簽名 Tagging
每個塗鴉者都有屬於自己的簽名,稱為Tag,在日常的城市生活中不難發現。一般而言,Tag有以下基本元素:塗鴉者的名字及以不同的媒介創作,如marker或噴漆等等。由於Tagging通常需要迅速完成,因此Tagging的字體設計與塗鴉者的技藝有密切關係。

The Warehouse Teenage Club

The Warehouse Teenage Club (The Warehouse) is located at former Aberdeen Police Station, which is also a grade 2 historic building. The Warehouse is a registered charitable non-profit making youth centre for youngsters between the age of 13 and 25, to develop multi-talents and contribute to the society by organising creative art and culture programmes, including Arts, Cultural Heritage Conservation and Maker Space.
